This Navajo-made key clip is worthy of being called jewelry for your keys !
Most likely made in the mid-to-late 1970's using a traditional design motif and method of fabrication, the artist succesfully hand-cut a stunning rectangular pillow out of high grade natural Tibetan turquoise.
Only for a very brief time did this kind of quality come into the U.S. from China as part of their reclamation of Tibet.
Not to be confused with the dyed and resin infused chalk on the market, this material is the same beautiful stone cut into beads hundreds of years ago. Those beads now sell for $100 per carat !
This key clip needs to rest in a soft pocket or purse with one, precious key! It is truly quite special.
