About Williams Soles

(1914-1967) Born in New York City, Soles is listed as a sculptor, an engraver, a craftsperson and a teacher in Who Was Who in American Art. He studied at the Art Students League with Alfeo Faggi.

A member of the Woodstock Art Association, Soles exhibited at the Weyhe Gallery and at Kennegy Galleries, both in New York.

He received a St. Gaudens Medal for his sculpture as well as the Keith Memorial Award. His prints are included in the collection of the New York Public Library.
