As a graduate student at Southern Methodist University, a special course allowed a group of students to visit Nesbitt's Soho studio in the late 1970's. I remember being impressed with the enormity of his loft space and with the number of studio assistants he employed. The title listed is makeshift for this gorgeous print, as I was unable to locate the proper one. Information is always appreciated.
Bits of plant matter are embedded into the hand-made paper lending a degree of texture Nesbitt's pristine depiction of an iris.
