About the Artist

(1939-2009) Hopi/ Laguna in heritage, Roberta Youvella Silas was best known for her black and red on yellow cylinder vases, black on red bowls, jars and piki bowls.  Heavily populated by bands of Sitkayki designs consisting of parrots, lightning, clouds and feathers.
