About the Artist

(1926-1981) This Danish American designer worked for the International Sterling Company in Meriden, Connecticut.

While living in Denmark, Christoffersen was trained as a goldsmith, training at the Copenhagen firm of A. Michelsen, jewelers to the Royal Danish court.  Later he graduated from the Academy of Arts and Crafts of Denmark, receiving the coveted silver medal for excellent from the Danish gold and Silversmith's guild.
