About the Artist

This Navajo jeweler actively first created coral and turquoise necklaces in the mid 1970's according to Gregory Schaaf's book on American Indian Jewelers Volume 1, marking her work with a joined VG. She is also cited in Barton's Wright's book on hallmarks.

Associated with the Canyon Silver Company, she was the wife of Bruce Burnham, owner of Burnham Trading Post.  Her work was illustrated in the January 1997 issue of Arizona Highways magazine.
