(Born circa 1950) Currently a California resident, this sculptor previously lived in Loveland, Colorado.
Mark Hopkins is known for his wildlife sculptures, often cantilevered from their bases. Hopkins tends to depict partial animal figures, suggesting the illusion of levitation in their posturing.
Hopkins was featured in the July 2004 issue of Southwest Art magazine in an article written by Normal Kolpas titled "In Three Dimensions". His work has also been covered in three issues of Wildlife Art magazine (1999, 2000, 2001).
