(Born 1938) John Parker Glick earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wayne State University in 1960, his Master of Fine Arts from the Cranbrook Academy in 1962. In 1964 Glick founded Plum Tree Pottery located in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
During the month of September 2006 I had a retrospective exhibition at the Birmingham-Bloomfield Art Center in Michigan, titled "Looking Back-Making Now 42 Years in Clay". Additionally 30 books reference Glick's work published between 1965 and 2003. Ceramics Monthly magazine September 1972 profiled "John Glick - Plum Tree Pottery".
