(1917-2000) This Acoma potter's full name was Juana Louis Valley. She was taught to make pottery by her grandmother, Eulilia Vallo. She signed her work either LENO, Acoma N.M. or Mrs. Juana Leno.
She was known for her polychrome ware as well as her black on white Tularosa and Anasazi Revival style of pottery. She won awards for her work at Santa Fe's Indian Market as well as at the Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial in Gallup, New Mexico.
