About the Artist

(Born 1973) This self-taught Arizona artist chooses to paint living forms expressively. I like the artist's statement "In my paintings, I try to maintain a balance between expression and restraint, speech and silence, safety and menace. While I paint, wholly imaginary forms become emblematic of my own struggle to maintain a safe course between mania and depression."
