About the Artist

(Born 1952) A landscape painter with a sunny palette, often the artist's perspective is from a bird's eye view. Macpherson is originally from New Mexico where he earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico in 1974. Since 1985 he has staged solo exhibitions in commercial art galleries. In 2002 "Macpherson, A Twenty-Six Year Retrospective" was presented at the Clovis Arts Festival in Clovia, New Mexico. Beyond inclusion in public institutions, this artist's work can be found in an abundant selection of business collections primarily in New Mexico, but also in New York and Arizona.
