About the Artist

Ivanka Jozefina Anna Kraupnerova was born in Czechslovakia, emigrating to Australia as an infant with her family. She studied design in Sydney, Australia, furthering her studies in gemology and jewelry design at the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, California. For many years Ivanka's jewelry designs have been marketed in Scottsdale, Arizona and beyond. A beauty, Ivanka has designed in tandem with her daughter, Chi-mene. Ivanka's jewelry tends to be substantial in the European tradition, where the metal speaks with more authority than the stones showcased. Her jewelry is signed IVANKA.
