About the Artist
This Hopi artist was especially active making pottery between 1960 and 1970. Jeanette's favorite designs were rain, clouds, arrow points, parrots and feathers. Jar and ladles are listed as Sahu's most frequent forms.
She is described in Gregory Schaaf's book Hopi-Tewa Pottery 500 Artist Biographies.
