About the Artist

Known for his traditional pottery enhanced with contemporary designs, Mr. Baca has actively produced pottery since 1986, having been taught by Marian Naranjo and Angela Baca. Designs he favors are the avanyu, bear paws, hummingbirds and butterflies. As the owner of Singing Water Gallery at Santa Clara Pueblo, Mr. Baca combines his skill as a potter with his graduate studies, having earned an MBA from the University of New Mexico. His work has been exhibited at Indian Market in Santa Fe for many years as well as at the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Arts and Crafts Show.
