About the Artist

Alex Kotzky had drawn the comic strip Apartment 3-G, one of America's most eduring soap opera comic strips. Originated by psychiatrist Dr. Nicholas P. Dallis, Apartment 3-G details the lives of three career women sharing an apartment in New York City. It debuted in May 1961. Kotzky wrote the storyline for five years following Nicholas Dallis' death. Following Mr. Kotzky's death in 1996, Kotzky's son continued his father's contribution of the artwork with text by Lisa Trusiani. Frank Bolle currently draws the strip.
