About the Artist
(Born circa 1930, Navajo) Roger Skeet Jr. Studied jewelry making from his father, Roger Skeet Sr., a talented jeweler who collavorated with Leekya Deyuse, Labert Homer, Rose Pincion and with other Zuni mosaic jewelers. Skeet Jr.'s father worked for CG Wallace, Tobe Turpen and for the Tanners.Typically Skeet Jr. signs his work RS. His work tends to be more limited in scope than his father, as his work focused on stampwork, repousse and set stones.
