About the Artist
(Born 1962, French) Pascal Pierme is a contemporary sculptor from France who currently resides in New Mexico. He has studied in France, California, and Italy. Pierme's work explores themes of balance, movement, inquiry, architecture, and nature. He prefers working with precious woods and creates his own unique bronze-like patinas and finishes.Pierme has collaborated with architect Anti Lovag and has exhibited internationally. His work is in various private, public, museum, and corporate collections, including Palais Bulles, Pierre Cardin's residence in Cannes, France; Carol Burnett, Santa Fe, New Mexico; City Hall, Collogny, Switzerland; Marriott Hotels; Active Health, New York; Equifax World Headquarters; among many other locations.
Pierme's work is represented by Gebert Contemporary (Santa Fe & Scottsdale).
In 2023 a hard-bound monograph covering Pierme's work was published Origines + Life, available from Gebert Contemporary or on the artist's website pascalpierme.com
