(1937-1984) Born in Tokyo, Tetsuo Araki studied at Musashino Art University in Tokyo. Subsequently he went to Paris and worked in the studio of the print artist Friedlaender.
This Japanese artist's prints were marketed through a company called the Collector's Guild during the 1970's. Periodically his intaglio prints are offered by established print galleries such as Annex Galleries, as they are quite accomplished in their execution. Throughout Europe his prints have appeared in group print exhibitions.
Most of the above was taken from Benezit's Dictionary of Artists.
