About the Artist
(Born 1955, Jemez pueblo) Having started making pottery in 1987, she is best known for fashioning polychrome jars and bowls consistent with Zia pueblo's design motifs.Her work is referenced in three publications focused on pottery made by pueblo Indians: Southwestern Pottery Anasazi to Zuni, Pueblo and Navajo Contemporary Pottery and Directory of Artists and Southern Pueblo Pottery 2,000 Artist Biographies by Gregory Schaaf.
