About the Artist
(1935 or 1936-1999) Ivan Boyd Otterlifter Sherk, an American citizen, signed his work in a stylized "CYOT"Sherk's interest in Northwest Coast masks is evident in the carvings he created. Reportedly he was adopted into a Tlingit clan.
