About the Artist
(1935 or 1936-1999) Ivan Boyd Otterlifter Sherk, an American citizen, signed his work in a stylized "CYOT".Sherk's wood carvings reflect his interest in Northwest Coast masks. Reportedly he was adopted into a Tlingit clan.
