About the Artist
(1922-2011) A Hopi jeweler who was a member of the Water Clan, Victor Coochwyetewa resided at Shungopavi, Second Mesa in Arizona.
His hallmark was a triple rain cloud symbol with five downward vertical strokes signifying rain. Often he positioned a Kokopelli flute player near his rain cloud symbol.
