Romando Vigil, also known as Tse-Ye-Mu, was born in 1902 at San Ildefonso pueblo in New Mexico. He was educated in Santa Fe.
Vigil was employed in the early 1950s at Walt Disney Studios in Los Angeles.
Tse-Ye-Mu’s work is in major collections including at the Denver Art Museum, the Gilcrease Institute of American History and Art, the Philbrook Art Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the Museum of the American Indian, Heye Foundation, New York.
