Dextra Quotskuyva (born 1928 at Polacca,Az-2019) was the third generation descendant of Nampeyo, the Tewa potter who revived Sikyatki-style pottery on First Mesa. Wife of Edwin Quotskuyva, daughter of Rachel and Amerson Namingha, mother of Dan Namingha, Dextra began making pottery in 1967. As per Gregory Schaaf Dextra began "working seriously" in 1972 and was recognized in 1977 as a "master" by Guy and Doris Monthan in their article Dextra Quotskuyva Nampeyo in American Indian Art Magazine. The Monthan's commented "The graceful shapes bear a rich complexity of designs and the craftsmanship is flawless."
