(Born 1946, Navajo) A resident of Winslow, Arizona, Mr. Cody works in oil. In 1979 he won first prize at Tanner's All Indian Invitation Show for Sunrise Smoke. When Cody attended Intermountain School in Brigham City, Utah he was able to study art making under the tutelage of Allan Houser.
He exhibited with the Heard Museum Guild Fair, winning an award in 1971 and with the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonials winning a first prize in 1976 and another in 1986. Cody also has exhibited his work in San Francisco and San Juan Capistrano.
