(Born 1963, Mexican) Originally mentored by Rodolfo Morales, Enrique Flores Gonzales has been exhibiting his work throughout Mexican and the United States since 1985. He has also exhibited in Japanese and Holland.
Born in the Mixteca region of Oaxaca, Mexico, Flores began studying drawing while in high school, entering Oaxaca's School of Fine Arts in 1981.
His stylization of indigenous Mexican women is particularly distinctive.
He is represented by galleries in both the United States and in Mexico such as the Indigo Arts Gallery in Philadelphia, PA.
