Born circa 1958, this Hopi jeweler specializing in silver overlay work is a member of the Fog Clan. Using a turtle hallmark, Honanie has been actively making since 1993.

Crediting Lendrick Lomayestewa as teacher for jewelry making, Honanie is referenced in Gregory Schaaf's book as well as Margaret Wright's publication Hopi Silver The History of Hopi Silversmithing.
