(Born 1963, Jemez Pueblo) Active making pottery from 1985 forward, Sando is known for his human figures, Kokopelli, bears, frogs and uniquely decorated vessels.
Devoted to digging his own clay, hand-forming his vessels and painting with traditional wild spinach for black and clay paint for red and white slip.
