(Born 1950, Jemez Pueblo) Geraldine's mother, Cecilia Loretto taught her daughter traditional techniques for making Jemez pottery. This means digging clay, processing it, forming vessels using a coil method. Finally she sands, paints and stone polishes her pottery before it is fired outdoors.
