(Born 1951) "Corn Pollen" was inspired by make pottery by her mother and grandmother. She learned to hand-coil and to pinch clay sculptures. This process includes cleaning the clay, sifting, shaping, molding, painting and firing after first gathering the clay from special locations preferred by family members.
Emily is from Jemez pueblo and is related to her husband, Leonard Tsosie, Rose Fragua, Chris Fragua and Caroline Gachupin.
She is known for her clay storytellers and corn maidens.
