About the Artist

(Born 1961, Santa Clara) Grandson of Margaret and Alcario Tafoya, son of Toni and Ted Roller. As early as 1988 Cliff won a first for one of his pottery bowls at Indian Market in Santa Fe.

A sixth generation potter, he continues to make traditional Santa Clara carved blackware. Roller's work has been included in every book in recent years dealing with American Indian pueblo pottery.
