(Born in 1970, Laguna/Hopi) A member of the Water Clan and a member of the Kachina clan, he is half Hopi and half Laguna.
Lente's training came from Preston Duwyenie at Hopi and May Chavez at Acoma. Each shared traditional methods of gathering clay and raw plants from the reservation. The brush he uses is from a yucca stem fashioned using his teeth. His choice for firing involves cedar chips utilized outdoors.
