About the Artist

(Born 1953, Navajo) Calvin Toddy is a son of Beatien Yazz (Jimmy Toddy), living on the Navajo Reservation in Chinle, Arizona. A silversmith as well as a painter and working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, silver and gemstone, Toddy has been a constant award winner at the Gallup Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial since 1985, selected as the poster artist for that organization in 1995.  

Toddy's magnificent miniature paintings can be about the size of a deck of playing cards.
