About the Artist

(Born 1931, Santa Clara Pueblo) Since the age of 13, Mida has been making pottery.

Her grandmother was Sara Fina (Serafina) Tafoya, mother Christina Naranjo, aunt Margaret Tafoya uncle Camilio Tafoya, sisters Teresita Naranjo and Mary Cain, and daughter Ethel Vigil were or are all successful potters.
