(Born 1966) A member of the Dogwood and Child of Tobacco Clans, Paloma began making pottery at Zuni High School in 1979, having studied with Jennie Laate.
Paloma succeeded Norren Simplicio as pottery teacher at Zuni High School in 1990. Paloma has taught traditional techniques of gathering raw clay and making natural paints.
This Zuni potter has won awards at the Museum of Northern Arizona and at the Inter-tribal Ceremonial. His work has been published in two prominent books: The Pottery of Zuni Pueblo by Dwight Lanmon and Francis Harlow and Talking with the Clay by Stephen Trimble.
