Fran Kraynek-Prince and Neil Prince (both born circa 1940) are American basketmakers whose specialty is/ was working with fallen Torrey Pine needles, both natural and dyed.
The American Craft Museum in New York City includes a Kraynek-Prince torrey pine needle basket, My Galaxy (1989) in their permanent collection, as does the Erie Art Museum and the Fine Arts Museum of the South.
Publications featuring their baskets include Southwest Art, Metropolis, Creative Ideas for Living, Town & Country, Vogue Magazine and Architectural Digest.
