About the Artist

Active making pottery since 1963, this gentleman has both Zia and Hopi heritage. Having married an individual from Santa Clara, his work references traditional polished blackware pottery decorated with incised designs.

Corn Moquino participated in a group exhibition of Santa Clara pottery presented at the venerable Sid Deutsch Gallery in New York City in 1985.

Moquino has won awards at various Indian market competitions:  Indian Market at Santa Fe, Eight Northern Indian Pueblo Arts & Crafts Show.
