(Born 1942) This Colorado oil painter offers painterly depictions that are bald in their honesty. Light infused scenes are synonymous with Chmiel's name.

Chmiel is listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the West. He has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine as well as the Western Art Digest. While exhibiting at the Masters of the American West at the Autry Museum, he was voted the Artist Choice Award in 2002.
