About the Artist

(1959-2006) Lois was the daughter of Sofia Medina, the sister of Marcellus Medina. A potter from Zia pueblo, Lois learned pottery making from her mother.

At times mother and daughter would team up to make collaborative vessels.  

Lois won many awards at the Santa Fe Indian Market and at the New Mexico State Fair.
