(Born 1953) This potter from San Juan/ San Felipe is known for her graceful micaceous ware resulting in jars, melon bowls, some with impressed or raised designs that are immediately recognizeable as Myrtle's. Myrtle has been making pottery since 1979.
There is an example of one of her tapering jars with terraced rain clouds raised from the surface.
She is referenced in several books covering 20th century pueblo pottery: Schaaf, Hayes & Blom, Anderson.
In additional to creating her subtle pottery, she also constructs headdresses for men as well as other items.
