About the Artist

Also known as Rosemary Lewis, this Santa Clara potter was born the same year I was, in 1952. Rose M. Lewis is known for her polished and carved blackware jars, vases, bowls and buffaloes.

She participated in the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Arts & Crafts Show between 1994 and 1998.  

Rosemary has a very distinctive way of depicting the Kokopelli figure on the exterior of some of her vessels.
