Design
Nine redbud diamonds outlined by split sedge root on background of bracken fern root. Self-coiled rim. Diamond pattern represents rattlesnake design. Extremely firm basket.

About Yokuts
"Between 40 and 60 tribes of Yokuts people were situated in Central California. Geographically they were divided into three groups 1) the Southern Valley Yokuts 2) the Northern Valley Yokuts and 3) the Foothill Yokuts.
