About The Grand Canyon Vista

This facile representation of one of the greatest natural wonders of the world suggests how vast and special it is. Proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be used to bring the exhibition, "Book as Art" to the Northern Arizona University Art Museum in Fall, 2008

About Leslie B. DeMille
Known for both his portraits and landscapes, DeMille has captured the likenesses of former presidents as well as sport celebrities including Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods. DeMille has been an instructor at the Scottsdale Artists' School since 1984 and he has authored three books on pastels. He is a fellow of the American Artists Professional League, an advisory board member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast and a member of the Salmagundi Club as well as the Pastel Society of America. Currently Mr. DeMille resides in the vicinity of Sedona, Arizona, where he continues to paint.
