This is a wall hung sculpture in earthy tones of terra cotta framed by a flesh colored border.

 

About the Artist (Born 1943)  Alice Warder Seely's heritage reflects the mix of cultures common to New Mexico:  American Indian, Spanish and Anglo.  Several members of her family were or are producing artists.  Her father William Warder was a muralist and a landscape painter.  Her step father was Narciso Abeyta, the Navajo artist.  Both her brother and sister are recognized Navajo artists. 

A resident of Hondo, New Mexico, Seely is a writer, a painter, a sculptor and a jewelry designer.
