Mr. Goodbear titled his painting on the mount board, also signed and dated it twice.

About the Artist (1913-1954) Born at Fay, Oklahoma, Mr. Goodbear was a member of the Cheyenne community.  Goodbear studied art at Oklahoma Baptist University, the University of New Mexico, the University of Wichita and the Chicago Art Institute.  His paintings have been exhibited in the Metropolitan Museum in New York City, at the Syracuse Museum of Fine Arts and the Philbrook Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
