About The Three Piece Ranger Buckle Set Flush Inlay Turquoise

Exquisite buckle set featuring sterling silver with beautiful channel inlay of intense blue natural turquoise. The stones are hand cut in 3/32" round and 3/32" X 1/8" tear drop shapes. The overall flora form motif is framed with silver rope twist wirework and accented with silver "rain drops". There are97 hand cut and individually bezel filled stones. This truly wonderful ensemble is the creative, meticulous work of Zu?i master jeweler and artist, Frank Dishta. Though he was prolific over his career, the jewelry of Mr. Dishta is not readily available. People who have acquired it, seldom part with it.

About Frank Dishta
Frank Dishta, of Zuni Pueblo, was born in 1902. A jeweler since 1924, he developed a unique style of flush channel inlay, using sterling silver and Lone Mountain turquoise. His work is in the permanent collection of the Heard Museum and other prestigious institutions.
