About The Bear Overlay Concho Belt

Primarily lozenge-shaped ovals, the buckle and 11 conchos are executed in hand-cut out overlay silver. The subject is a walking bear in profile. Details of the fur and features are file carved and stamped. The bear is "haloed" by a sunburst of stamped and cut rays. Beneath the bear's paws is a stepped "double key" or scroll pattern. The buckle has the same handsome design but is overall just a bit larger--with a hook for the belt holes instead of a tongue. Each concho is secured to the belt strap with two copper bands. This belt can be worn by a gent as well as a gal--making a striking statement added to any collection/ wardrobe.
