This is a deliberate depiction of a magnificent place by an extremely facile artist, Ann McLeod (pronounced McCloud).

About the Artist Known for her depiction of Arizona landscapes, Ann McLeod has concentrated on the Sonoran desert, Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon as well as Sedona's red rocks and soil. Having moved to Arizona in 1981, the artist travels statewide in search of reference material. 

McLeod (pronounced Mc Cloud) often displays her work at the Desert Caballeros Museum's Cowgirl Up exhibit.
