About The Turquoise Wheel Channel Inlay Cuff Bracelet

Handsome, large silver cuff bracelet set with three "wheels" of channel inlay Blue Gem turquoise. It is immaculately executed using the finest grade of teal material, almost translucent with a rich golden matrix. On each side is an overlay geometric pattern. This masterpiece is beautiful, durable and a true rarity in the market.

Hallmarks of the Southwest by Barton Wright, the revised and expanded 2nd edition describes Joe Begay as follows: "A silversmith, he first used the mark "J. Begay" in1974 when he worked for the Montana Mining Company.

In 1976 and 1989 he also created jewelry for Indian Hammers and for the Atkinson Trading Company. His specialty is channel inlay."
