About the Artist The son of self-taught Tesuque artist, Tomas Vigil (circa 1889-1960), Paul Vigil continues to paint today. Known for painting kachina dancers in great detail using watercolor, his artwork has been featured in Southwestern Indian Ceremonials by Tom Bahti, a magazine dedicated to Native American ceremonial traditions.
